The latter argued NAFTA would retain a vast amount of capital [US capital investment] on the North-American continent. This would offset MAD-RUSH GLOBALIZATION to the third world. This faulty analysis is presently verifiederroneous - tragically incorrect. NAFTA caused major harm and insignificant good. It played into the hands of the Mexican oligarchy. An unmeritorious inheritance aristocracy class. [Sorry, Fausto] Thus, we exported vital industry and manufacturing; while the Mexican aristocracy greedily sucked-up US wealth. A disastrous blunder. Unearned benefits were reaped [raped] at expense of the Mexican People. No attempt was undertaken to improve their standard of living. More infuriating... As in the past, the arrogant oligarchy, as an exchange of trade, exported their oppressed population [smoldering impoverished masses]. Illegal immigrants flooded over our borders. Thus, as previously stated, the Middle-Class financed taxes to: export living-wage jobs by outsourcing; while importing illegal immigrants to driving down their wages. NAFTA, simultaneously, devastated the American and Mexico people!!! In all honesty, pseudo-free trade agreements represent no more than massive LEGALIZED THEFT. Contributing to incremental trade deficits; which the US maintains with all the world's nations. Herein resides the rub. Further wealth transfers are extracted from our middle-class and working-poor. Unfortunately, these taxpayer is twice burnt. Billed a second time. Required, by law, to bear illegal- immigration's financial burden. In the past, this was not a serious problem. However, today, with the Middle-Class's economic downgrading, ["downsizing?"] a brutal economic fact has emerged. The middle-class and working-poor are Tax Bankrupt - broke! The necessary wealth and taxes cannot be generated to absorb unrestrained illegal immigration. It is time for Santa to take a holiday!!! [It is too depressing. We will not consider the $50 Billion US-to-Mexico loan-bailout to salvage US banks from collapse.]The western hemisphere must recognize pseudo-free trade is recipe for disaster. Such proposals are intellectually-fallacious inherently defective destined to end as NAFTA. The Secretly negotiated sham CAFTA is doomed to spectacular failure. Its stated goal cannot be achieved by ill-advised piecemeal trade diplomacy. It is misguided and unwise to negotiate with oligarchies which thrive by opposing their populations' economic survival. All that is gained is - ''INSTABILITY!" Not to mention the ethical and moral questions. The foolish pseudo-free trade doctrine and paradigm must be abandoned. A feasible, transparent comprehensive equitable solution must be found. Ross Perot was correct. A great sucking-sound of an economic disaster was heard post NAFTA passage. The only NAFTA success exception is Canada. Why is Canada an important example? Canadians' living-standard is equivalent to the USA. It represents an important element of this Site's suggested GRADUAL-GLOBALISM proposal. Namely, The European Accords actualization as a necessary prerequisite to entry into The Common Market of the Americas.

Radical irredentists may advocate redemption of the historically lost territories once owned by their nation of origin. Now well within the sovereignty of a foreign power. Increased population equates to amplified political power. Hispanics are largest US minority; having surpassed African-Americans. Hate-mongering, right-wing radio demagogues have radicalized the AWMs. Psychologically manipulating AWMs a fallacious BLAME-GAME MENTALITY. The reinforced message is: "Let's blame the little impoverished oppressed Mexican guy forced to immigrate; not our corporate sponsors of this radio program." Hate and blame are easily marketed commodities. Avoidance of the hard new way - laborious research and thinking to find a solution is ignored. The venom-spewers well-know human nature loves blaming another for failure. This explains why, in the 2004 elections, most Americans voted against their best economic interest. This Site's position regarding the Minutemen guarding our border is, without question, they have a moral and legally justifiable position. Exercising their constitutional right to redress of Grievances; and to peaceably assemble and protest. However, by unwisely arming themselves they do a self-defeating disservice to the cause. An inherent intimidation is created by bearing weapons under theses circumstances. This is self-defeating. Worst of all, passage will obstruct America’s capacity to negotiate genuine free trade within the Western Hemisphere. Causing a devastating loss and obliteration of prospective prosperity. FAST-TRACK-TRADE authority granted to the President by the Congress was a tragic mistake demanding REPEAL. FAST-TRACK conflicts with our Republican-Democracy. It nullifies our system and principles of government. Namely, creation of the RULE OF LAW through the legislative processes of reasoned debate and compromise. To the contrary, FAST-TRACK advances negotiating secretive trade treaties. [NAFTA, CAFTA, FTAA etc.] NO extensive debate, no amendments, are tolerated. Just a take-it-or-leave-it - UP OR DOWN vote. This nullifies our representative democracy. Crushes cherished ideals for which many gave their lives. An insult to THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. IS NAFTA-MATH BEING USED IN CHINA TRADE?
Recently, Bush Administration officials proudly bragged US trade exports with China were excellent. Over the last year, US exports to China increased over 100% compared to the previous year. The public is assured not to worry re China exports. This at time when in 2004 our China trade deficit exceeds $160 billion. However, a problem exists. Our initial calculations seem to indicate: The only way The Administration could arrive at such percentages was: If they were using what we call NAFTA MATH. The Afta' NAFTA Disasta' is: sleazy politicos were calculating the amount of - the value of - all the US manufacturing industries, plant and equipment, other means of production, capital investment and service industries in the total exports to Mexico. after initial NAFTA passage it promoters gloated about the massive trade surplus w Mexico. But these trade surplus figures were phony. The false numbers included the value of: all industries, manufacturing plant and equipment etc., we shipped to Mexico. Incredibly, our industries we counted as exports. Not only goods and services exported after production within the USA. Therefore, an initial - but fictitious - trade surplus allegedly existed with Mexico. This soon plummeted to the current Trade Deficit. Amazing nefarious conduct. Moreover, beyond belief, under NAFTA the Mexican oligarchy eagerly permitted US AGRA business to ship cheap grain to Mexico. This lowballed grain prices; driving already impoverished Mexico farmers off their land. Profitable Mexican farming became impossible. [Almost started a war; and may yet.] The Result? Incredible, but true. More Mexican farmers were forced to illegally immigrate. IS THE SAME - NAFTA MATH - CALCULATING US EXPORTS TO CHINA? If it is, it represents a government deception of staggering proportions. We are no longer trust false assumptions or artificial false choices. We are researching, investigating and checking our own China exports calculations. We ask all interested parties of good faith to do same.All at a time when conservative estimates for 2005 surpass $700 billion for our 2005 trade deficit. More disconcerting is: Our initial rough estimates indicate it could top $1Trillion!!! We pray to be proven incorrect. Moreover, each year people like us with interest in economics, make a rough estimate when the time of truth will arrive. The year when all US deficits reach a what we term THE BREAK POINT. Where all US revenues would be offset by deficits. A redefinition of "Zero Sum. " Our figures reckon 2025 to be the year of the Great Economic Awakening. The Lou Dobbs economic-team are wisely engaged in the same. Why our elected officials are not is disheartening. DANGERS OF IMPORTED DEFECTIVE-COUNTERFEIT COMPONENT PARTSUSED IN NATIONAL SECURITY There is a more anguishing question which must be publicized and confronted. Some consider it most important problem facing US economic and national security. Years ago, dutifully, the US media repeated covered stories re counterfeit defective component parts being exported to America. These defective parts were produced cheaply and dumped by third world producers. This not counterfeiting mere music and movies CDs. Rather, in all international trade, the quality of component parts is of strategic national security importance. Why? Because things break down?!%#@*! All machines are constructed of component parts. Service of machinery is simply a matter of discovering the worn-out component part and replacing it with a new one. No problem. But, what if the "new" component part is a defective counterfeit. A part produced in a slaved-waged nation without quality control. Bluntly, what if the part is defective - a counterfeit cheaply dumped in US market. Let's say "bolts." Yes. The humble bolt is the thing which bolts machines together. If the bolts are defective, they crack under stress and pressure. Thus, the causation of a catastrophic machine failure. Such as, crash of an airplane; or, saints preserve us, a military helicopter. This means billion spent on US defense material could be undermined by usage defective component parts. Not only endangering our national defense - national security - but actually causing the loss of our kids in the military. Past media reports suggested this was a widespread problem.[These anguishing questions are difficult. But, each generation must be knowledgeable, responsible and mature enough to confront them. Especially, where lives and national security are at stake. This research creates sleepless nights. The Author]
