A MEMORY SHARED: "I had a wonderful dinner, one evening, with Maggie Kuhn, the founder of The Gray Panthers. I was shocked to hear of her passing. But I will never forget that evening. Iin candle light in that French Restaurant on Los Olas in Ft. Fort Lauderdale. If she had been 50 years younger, I would have married the woman. Any way. She was so excited. She kept talking about a young female reporter in Philadelphia who was a trailblazer for all women. And, also for professional journalism. PRAYERS FOR HAROLD
THE VETERAN reports, after a visit to his VA Hospital, there is a young patient in grave need of our prayers. Harold returned Iraq-Afganistan despondent having taken human life. The Veteran promised we would pray for him. The Veteran: "Harold, ask The Father for forgiveness. He forgave me! Place all your trust on The Father and The Lord. Believe me, they will pull you through this. I will ask all our friends to pray also. Please, do not do anything until I can get back here to see you." Harold: "I promise." NOTE: For The Veteran to be alarmed about a particular VA case, it must be very serious. Let us all pray for HAROLD.
PS The Veteran, on his way home, had his car-brakes fail. Almost died himself. Maybe we should pray for him also?
